Eco Ecuador is an ongoing project to collaborate with an Ecuadorian community and help
create a sustainable local ecology. We have been working on this eco-city project since 1999.
We first worked with Guard Fox Watch at the Nagano Winter Olympics in 1998.
Subsequently, we developed guidelines for the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics in 2002 and
helped organize a campaign to develop eco-consciousness in their planning. We
monitored the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Turin, Italy and continue with the 2010 Vancouver,
The interactive Green City Calendar is a weekly-updated resource
to help people find environmental volunteer options and greening projects in the San
Francisco Bay Area. Through the variety of hands-on ecosystem restorative work, bike
rides, hikes, farmer's markets, classes, workshops, and celebrations listed in this
calendar, we can build a symbiotic balance between humanity and the planet, and promote
